OJEU for Earliest Involvement

At yesterday's Collaborative Working Champions meeting, we explored why people appear to find it so difficult to appoint their team members (all the key players from designers, through contractors and specialist to manufacturers and suppliers) at or vey near to the beginning of a project. We concluded that one of the barriers is a belief that OJEU either precludes it and/or would require significant amendment to the OJEU process.  So we have decided to see if it is possible under the existing…See More

Welcome to the Collaborative Working Champions network

The Collaborative Working Champions network, founded by Constructing Excellence, is a place for people interested in working more efficiently in the architecture, engineering, construction and facilities management (FM) sectors. Building on lessons learned from real projects undertaken using approaches based on integrated collaborative working, the network is aimed to help you play your part in creating a better, more sustainable built environment - from planning and design through construction to occupation and management of buildings, infrastructure, etc.

Use the forum to ask questions of the whole network. Use Groups to discuss specific themes (why not start a group, invite friends and share your ideas?). Publicise events on collaborative working themes, write your own blog post about something that might interest others, or share a download (more website help here).

But what does IPD actually involve? I found this AUGI article by…
